Job Description

Monitor, review and train staff in the accounting teams for costing & inventory, GL and fixed assets.
Review periodic reports prepared by the accounting teams, in compliance with internal Group reporting and statutory requirements.
Ensure timely and accurate preparation of management reporting and validate the reasonableness thereof.
Be up to date with development on the accounting standard and impact to the accounting for entity.
Monitor, maintain, enforce and improve the accounting SOPs.
Prepare periodic GST and tax reports.
Be up to date with developments on tax laws, and its impact to the entity.
Assist in the audit process, attend to audit queries and prepare Audited Financial Statement.
Assist in ad-hoc projects.

Job Requirements

Good leadership, communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
ACCA / CA / CPA and accounting degree.
Minimum 4 to 7 years working experience in related fields.
Conversant in accounting standards such as IFRS and company law.
Detail oriented, hands on personality capable of working in fast-paced and deadline oriented environment.
Proactive with strong reasoning skills and ability to deliver to connect the dots and look at full picture.
Working experience in large audit firm.
Knowledge and experience with SAP preferred.
